Honor

“Hear me, Ramza. For generations, we Beoulves have stood foremost of those who serve the Crown. Ours is the soul of the knight. Become a knight worthy of your name. Tolerate no injustice. Stray not from the true path. You will know the path you must walk.”

Ramza had strived to follow in his father’s footsteps, to bring honor to the Beoulve name as a knight to the crown. Without question he followed this until a turn of events truly opened his eyes to the events that were to unfold.

Tolerate no injustice. Stray not from the true path.”

These words are what kept him going. Be he branded a heretic or a hero, he did not stray from the truth. He would open the eyes of Ivalicians to show what corruption had gone on through the church walls. The strings being pulled by the Knights Templar as they controlled politician and religious leader alike. Injustice.. What they caused was wrong and he would be the one to solve it. To put a great weight on his shoulders, just to reveal the light of the truth is what Ramza wanted. He did it for the sake because it was the right thing to do. His brothers, Zalbaag and Dycedarg, pitted against one another through this corruption, they had brought down the Beoulve name through lies and death. There was no honor to be brought through their eyes and what they believed.

The honor had come through Ramza’s actions, the nature to do what he believed was right.
